    I thought I looked rather cute.....no ? :) Anyway, today whilst at the GC, we bought an Escallonia (Apple Blossom). Like you said, around 6 - 8ft. :thumb: Cheers...freddy.

    The best hedging site out there (in my humble opinion) is Ashridge Trees. Loads of plants and a good advice section take a look at http://store.ashridgetrees.co.uk. But you could look at Privet, Pyracantha, Viburnum tinus. Or what about a Beech hedge, not evergreen but holds its dead leaves all though the winter...

    Have you considered a line of evergreens fronted by English Native hedging--you get the best of both worlds then. I mean would you plant a border with a single species? So why do it with a hedge?
