Linz you are very welcome to all the advice :). Ask as much as you want as often as you want. You're doing a great job under difficult circumstances. I'm not an expert by any means but I have 5 1/2 years experience with hedgehogs so I've learned a few things along the way and I'm always happy to be able to pass on the benefit of that experience to others. Knowledge is never a bad thing, its what we do with it that makes the difference.

Vet rang me earlier as have a hog for me. Poor bean got his legs tangled in barbed wire.

All 3 have gone to a lady in Caerphilly who works for the hedgehog helpline. I can ring up for updates in the meantime. Fingers crossed they will recover and gain the weight they need to be released. Thank you all for your help :imphrt:

Great news! Had one hedgehog back yesterday, he's up to 630g. Turns out he was very sick, had been attacked by a dog and had two abceseses. Been drained and treated and he's back on form :) should have the other 2 back within the next week or so!

That is good news Linz :). Your little one has been very lucky. Feel free to PM or ring if you need any more advice, particularly about hibernation.
