Hi Everyone - thank you for all your welcomes & its so nice to be remembered!!
Shiney - work - oh dear!!! What is it with me & paid employment! :wallbanging:
Trying to think back - I left Social Services & the institutional bullying & went to work "part time" for a Nursing Home who expected me to do full time work in those hours. I left there last year having survived 4 years & went to work for a new care home literally around the corner......... & straight into a right old s*!t storm (its a long story)..... I am still there, just, working full time. I love it there now, work very closely with the owners and between us we have just about come out the other side of the storm & can see the sunlight! I feel I have a very long future there, but it has taken a year to get there - hence why I didnt get into the garden last year..........

It's good to hear you've now got a job you really like.

I remember all the trouble over your employer wanting you to get additional business insurance on your (not reimbursed) car just so you could drive to meetings.

:nonofinger: I was threatened with disciplinaries & all sorts - u know what? - I said, next time we have a meeting, I will have that insurance - so long as you apply the same rules to everyone else across the company, even if they are asked to pop to the shops for a pint of milk. Boy, was I popular for a while with other staff as head office did "their thing" with memos and emails, and I wasn't required to go to Head office for any meetings!!! (I can put mymilitant hat away for now!) :heehee:
