Thank you for the advice, oh my, I've had a real good look at the other forums and there is just about everything, so I've taken my chances in what I think is the right one and posted my questions

 

Yes, GC has just about everything and when the growing season starts coming to a close we share a bit of banter in the Off Topic Discussion to keep us going through the winter months.

If a thread has been placed in the wrong forum somebody from admin will usually move it.

Hi @wiseowl just got home from work..... That's amazing! Bet you know the area far better than I lol, horses too, wow many memories no doubt... It's such an enchanting area to live, I have to protect everything from the visiting deer, rabbits, donkeys and horses not to mention the butterflies etc etc etc .....

Thought I'd share this mornings picture with everyone ..... This little bee looks dizzy already and it's only 9.30 am

 

What a long day.... Started at 9am and finished in the garden just before I had to put a torch on my head.... Progress today... Saw a dizzy bee first need to find out what that tree/shrub is? Weeded between the veggies and sadly talked to them hoping nothing eats them before I have my first tasting ... Cut the grass.... Weeded out the areas I started in.... Saved from killing/sourcing an Acer by getting great advice on GC thank you @Dips, @Spruce, @CharlieBot, Visited the garden center.... Bought evergreen and spreaded it as instructed...I think! Not good with measurements or walking at a set pace! I get distracted by all the weeds laughing at me....Took Tess for a walk Filled some pots, planted some new little toms as having read up on them ....I've left my first ones to run! They look like triffids! Followed instructions on how to get a fuchsia to grow into a tall fancy bush so tenderly plucked off leaves where required...this being a cut off which grew roots in a wine glass on the kitchen windowsill, ate the ripe strawberries in the greenhouse whilst doing so... Watered everything, tidied up and put everything back in the shed... It's a full time job this gardening so had a well earned G&T and off to bed..... Exhausted
