Hi LoL, you are right to pick up on the fact the veg gardening is slowly but surely becoming more of an interest for me. Rather a fascinating subject! Having said this, my original education in horticulture really had nothing to do with veggies, nor fruit for that matter.

Needless to say LoL, the weather in the UK is not nearly as pleasant as your own. Cool and wet right now.

Sorry about the loss of Candi! Its a very cruel life in many ways. How is the other kitty doing? There are 2 beautiful cats where I live now - one is a cross long-haired Siamese/blue point Burmese. He is such a lazy, beautiful boy!

Sure, I checked out your's and t'other arf's link. Seems like turmoil indeed! Nevertheless, it will all be worth it!

Thanks again for the Albizia Julibrissin seeds you sent last year and thanks indeed for the welcome back!

    Kind regards
    Roy

Well, I hope your beautiful cats may stay with you. I well remember a picture of a lazy, beautiful boy last year ...

Certainly our turmoil will be well worth it ... it better be or I'll kill t'other half! [IMG]

If you are seriously doing gardening where you are, let me know and I'll send things for you to try out, okay?

Nice to see you back. [IMG]

Hello Royster. I am a newbie so it seems strange to say welcome, but I will. Welcome.

Arghhh, Scotland. Hubby and I lived on the west coast for nearly 4 years before we came here. Jeez, do I miss it! It's God's country alright. But for the life of me I cannot understand why He created one of the most beautiful places on earth and then stuck midges there. Must have been out on a jolly that night.

Anyway, enough of that. You may notice me around the forum - usually upsetting one or other - but I love it here and feel I have made some friends. You obviously feel the same as you wouldn't have come back. Sounds as if you haven't had a pleasant time recently, but I hope things are brighter for you now. Life is good - most of the time. Sh*t happens - but it doesn't have to stick. End of sermon. Take care. Kryssy.

Hi LoL - you say "I well remember a picture of a lazy, beautiful boy last year ..."
Yes, I remember that pic - very lazy indeed, and nothing has changed with regards my needs either ;) .

Poor t'other 'arf. He's trying, after all

Oh, I am serious about my gardening LoL! I work in some right posh gardens now and would love to post some pics but can't remember how to work the picy thing on this website. I remember it was a nightmare before.
Kind regards to you and t'other 'arf!

Hey Kryssy, you really like trying to upset me don't you... [IMG]

No, its great to hear from you and thanks for your praise of the beautiful Scotland (with exception to the midgy thingys - and it is a fine point that God may have been on a "Jolly" that night, as you say :D )

I really look forward to more sermons from you in future!

    Kind regards!

It's dead easy Royster. First, open a Photobucket account - free - at Photobucket then once you are happy with your photos on your computer just upload them to your album in Photobucket.
When you post or reply go to the "post reply" at the top right of page, not the quickie method. In your Photobucket album under the picture you want to use, right click on the URL details and copy. Go back to your message box and click on "image" under the message box when you want to put in an image. In the pop up box paste the URL details of the photo you are using. Voila.
This instruction is better described in the second thread down on the main page for New Members.
    Happy posting.

Hi Diziblonde, nope I live in a village called Kilsby, not far from Rugby and a couple of miles from Ashby St Ledger. Are you in Ashby?

Kryssy, thanks for the instructions! I'll get back to you shortly, if I may?

    Kind regards!

FANCY, how could I forget you, of all people?! In honesty, I did find loading pics onto the photo bucket thing somewhat tricky and as it was some time ago since I "conquered" the task I am now finding it tricky trying to remember how to erm... do it.
By the way FANCY, I really like all the bits and pieces you have included in your message, not least your avatar image!
    Kind regards to you!
