Oh Grandad I do so hope that your knee is 'working' fine for you and is of course pain free for you. I for one (as most of you know) am struggling to cope with my pain, I just wish the blooming docter would make up his mind what's causing all the pain...week by week it's something different! :(

OMG Kathy one night last year I went to sleep early and after a couple of minutes I rushed down stairs to Bob screaming at what I thought was a heart attack I couldn't say at the time where the pain was coming from poor Bob was in a right state and my boys too.

An ambulance came with blue flashing lights on and all, those wonderful people got me breathing steady and did all their checks but because of the drugs I was on at the time they couldn't give me anything other than gas and air strangely the incredible pain eased off and I was allowed to go home that same night.

I kept having these terrible attacks and so the docter sent me for a scan and found I had loads of little gallstones.

I saw a specialist who said she wanted to take my gall-bladdout as I was having so many attacks at this time I was having two attacks a week and the only thing that took it off (other than gas and air) was going for a walk for about 10 minutes or so when I got that fluffy feeling...your husband might know what I mean Kathy.

Christmas week I had four attacks alone and then I found out what was causing it none other than cappinchino, it didn't help that I also lost an awful lot of weight last year too... I have put on some of the weight I lost and haven't had an attack since and I hope I don't have another either!
