@Madahhlia: we are near the Borough of Charnwood. Know anyone in this neck of the woods?

 

Well, I live not too far from you in Leicester. I go to Charnwood for walks etc.

 

@Madahhlia, out-bloomin-standing! We are close to Bardon. This area is brilliant for walking. Have you a favourite area? Suburban paradise indeed! Leics is one of the best counties in the UK for well-maintained waymarkers.

 

I don't do as much walking as I used to but I'm always aiming to rectify that. I like Bradgate Park - who doesn't? - and the empty countryside in E Leics and toward Northants.

 

A lovely garden with good basic structure. Open and light and airy so that's a lot in it's favour. So many experienced gardeners on GC who so generous with their help and good advice.
