I have some un-named chilli plants on the go at the moment. They're pretty hot but not the Naga heat! I've been growing these from previous years' seeds for many years. I've just dumped my five year old plants as they get too big and cumbersome and have decided to keep them at first year miniature size - have been picking seeds from only the smaller plants. :blue thumb:

By three years old they used to get up to six or seven feet tall! Now, with the miniaturised plants they're much easier to cope with.

Of course, I can never be sure that they'll come true but I'm hoping they'll continue like these.

I'm have to have a few on sale at our Open Garden, depending on how many advance orders we have (Mrs Shiney's dept). We just started some more off in the sprouter but I'm not sure that they'll be ready for Open Day, whereas our current ones are just coming into flower.

@banksy You'll be most welcome to come and join the GC nutters at our Open Garden. We're not too far from you (it only takes me just over 30 minutes to Southend, but is more likely to be 45 minutes) - Nathan can give you a better idea :)

@shiney I like the image of your chilli plant very much, wonderful! :dbgrtmb:

And thank you very much for the invite. Unfortunately I am busy that weekend with a family birthday, but I wish you the best of luck with the open day and hope you raise even more money this year for such a good cause. :fingers crossed:

          Thanks banksy,

If you're passing this way at any time then let me know and you can pop in for a cuppa and walk round.

All GC members are welcome :blue thumb:
