Nice, tidy, honest looking wee motor Kaz - you did really well :)

That window rubber should be an easy fix, and well worth getting done sooner rather than later - someone like Autoglass (or a local bodyshop or garage) will be able to quote for taking the window out and putting it back in with a new rubber (I'd guess around £70-ish); if it leaks, you leave yourself open to rotting carpets and floors etc, which could get expensive in time.

The rust isn't that bad to be honest, and if you are not too bothered about the cosmetic side of it, I would be inclined to treat it and leave it as it is - Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 would be just the ticket I reckon, and with very little work (clean the area, dry it, and apply the Hydrate 80) you would stop that corrosion dead in its tracks, and for less than £20.

Oh, and one last tip if I may - try and get yourself a cheap bit of vinyl flooring (the sort you see outside carpet shops as roll ends would do), and cut it to fit your boot as a boot liner - that way, once you've carted your compost/manure etc in the back, you can simply take the vinyl out and hose or mop it off - saves the car stinking.

Should be fine, just be a bit more work and will leave you with patches of primer that then want painted (primer is only a base coat so cannot be left as a permanent fix)

The Hydrate works at a molecular level to chemically change the metal oxide into a stabilized metallic compound. If you've not used the Halfords one, might be worth taking it back? Read up on the Hydrate first though to he sure in your own mind. Bolt Hamber is a brand typically used by enthusiasts and restorers, particularly vintage and classic cars. Grab a copy of Practical Classics if you can, and you are likely to find a lot more info and examples of their stuff in use.
