Help designing new garden...please!!

    I had loads of surplus concrete paving slabs. I gave most of the unbroken ones to my dad for his allotment, because its my view that 3x2 concrete slabs have no place in a garden that is not purely functional. The broken ones are a different story. I built my patio out of them, and I think it looks good. I've used a few for paths, and I have a load left for other projects I've yet to get round to.

    My point is, broken paving stones with their irregular shapes are ace for a less formal look.

    Thanks for the replies and ideas, I have found a cheap supply of clay pavers, not in my preferred colour but I'm just happy with getting a path! So after another few weeks of preparing I'm about to start digging the path out today...at least the sun is shining here :SUNsmile: wish me luck!
