Help needed identifying a plant

The garden is new to us and we have recently renovated the back of the house along with a large portion of the garden. I rather large pond was removed; I believe the new landscaping has revealed some bulbs that may have been hiding and found there way to the new beds? Could this and the mild weather have trigger the growth?

Sorry folks to be a party pooper but I do not think the leaf is right for Arum.
This beautiful leaf with superb veins has a long tail on the end of the leaf.
Still trying to think what it is.
Thought of Pontederia but that isn't it either.
