    I'm sorry but I have to agree with @longk bothy Cannas look virused.

    As for setting out plants, I'm no good at that, I just grow them and put the big ones at the back :snork:

    I usually get that bit wrong too :heehee:

    Bin the Cannas. You would have been lifting them (probably, not sure where in the UK you are) in a couple of months anyway. Start new ones off from seed in the new year. Seed is the best way to be sure that you're virus free. If you must buy rhizomes buy from a specialist such as Hart Canna to be sure of being virus free. Most Canna that I've seen for sale in GC's (and sheds such as B&Q) over the last couple of years have been virused.

    I would still space the Hosta out more than in the last photo. If happy they will multiply quite rapidly.

      Thanks all, will see if I can get my money back for them, will space the hostas out more and see how they take off. Can't wait for the growth to start
