Hi wilroda - are you saying you have a vent frame you think might fit? That would be fantastic - if so I'll make some careful measurements and we can compare. I live up North though unfortunately - if you have a Paypal account something could be sorted though I'm sure.

Ah, I e-mailed Eden and they were extremely helpful, but said their vents wouldn't fit. I'd been searching for Julianae greenhouses earlier on your recommendation, but could only find refs to a kind of Berberis! Had a breakthrough though - I think you might mean Juliana Greenhouses, I've found their site and have e-mailed them. I've also e-mailed Halls, so hopefully there'll be some good news.

OK, I've now heard back from Eden, Juliana (their parent company, turns out), and Halls - and none have suitable vents. Eden provided someone's contact telephone number to try, so I will.

    Hi.
The frame i have would be an ordinary vent frame. No fittings to hold it open sadly.
I will measure it up and let you know its " vital statistics" over the weekend.
It wouldnt cost much to post dismantled I am sure, being aluminium...

    Hi again
As promised here is a pic of the vent i have.It is 2ft square with no fittings.
I hope my pic has come out ok - but you should be able to tell if it would fit.
I have just extended my greenhouse by adding another one on the end ...!!..... so there is no need for this vent - it wouldnt fit mine anyway!!

so it is off to the dump if its no good.

oh dear - dont know how to put a pic on here!! please help!!

Hi wilroda - sounds promising - to post a pic follow the instructions here, they are very good:

How to post a pic to Gardener's Corner

    Fingers crossed!

Alternatively, just PM me and I'll give you my e-mail address - you can just send it that way, might be simpler [IMG]
