Help...what shall we do, our 'garden' needs it's topsoil back.

    That's coz the bit of the pond I filled in last year has sunk :(

    Good opportunity to hire a Big Toy and dig it all up again :)

    Thanks for the response kristin. Lots to mull over. Great garden blog too, you have a stunning garden.

    Lollipop, yes, that would be sensible and I should imagine a bit expensive too.

    Pro gard, I think we'll be ok doing it ourselves just the way you have suggested, my son was a bit nifty with the digger elevating the soil, so hopefully he'll be equally nifty putting it back. It did look great fun driving the digger and it was a big one too! I put his skills down to these game console control thingy's, he was far better and quicker than my husband so we let him crack on.

    It does seem more sensible to leave it until Sept/Oct 2009. We have plenty of jobs to do until then.
