    Aways worth having a go Caitlin, I know some members up there have struggled to get tomatoes to ripen in the shorter season, but you could try some quicker things, Dwarf French Beans are a fun one to start with :)

    Salad crops, carrots, peppers should all do well.. Dwarf Beans as Zigs says & perhaps some herbs..

    Tomatoes: If you start/finish with mini-bush tomatoes they can be started either/both early/late and brought indoors at end of season for continued cropping. Non-F1 saved seeds will come true.

    Dwarf Beans: I always grow Safari fine French beans that tend to cost a fortune in the shops, but are so easy to grow plus save (free, my favourite price) seeds from, year after year, and are great fried in garlic .....

    Garlic: The 'Really Garlicky Company' (& others) grows loads of garlic in Scotland, so it's not just suited for Mediterranean countries, or The Isle of Wight. Another crop you can save 'seed' cloves from to plant the following year.
