Knock it out of it's pot and give it a tidy up Pam, then repot into several pots. It might just be pot bound - mint likes room to grow.

Herbs all growing, thinking that the trays are a bit shallow. Want to plants some in the garden but also make pots for my kitchen window sill. Whats a good size of pot for indoors?

    Hi Adam
Pots that will fit your window-sill sound good ,but at least 4" 6" is better, so you can take what you need ,then pop it back outdoors and replace with another. So pot 2/3 so you can rotate them.
My mint was terminal ,couldn`t find much growing at all so i will pick up some from the supermarket over the weekend.

Only just noticed Adam you hail from Swansea, note my address. Also whats even more freaky is you have my sons middle name with his surname

Get the spuds out ,mine have been out in a cold frame for a month and then the last fortnight on their own, hopefully we have passed the frost time now, but if it does go cold at night throw a fleece over them .:skp:
Sow the rocket seeds and you may get a crop but it is notorious for bolting,I cant grow it at all :ntwrth:

grew my potato's in bags, down the colder end of the greenhouse, after filling them to the top with growbag goodness and liquid feeding them every ten days their greenery is huge and due to the bags it start off taller than the other stuff.

Its trying to shade my strawberry plants which in and of themselves are mad little planties.

Been told to wiat for the greenery to start dying off before delving for potato gold but hopefully at the end of June.

Red up on rocket after it bolted, we had a few pitta breads out of it so not too sad and it was a nice early crop.

I am growing in bags aswell ,did you put 4" of compost in bottom of bag ,with drainage holes, place 3-4 potatoes on top cover with 3" of compost and then just keep earthing over as the growth comes through ? :cnfs:
As you have been told when the tops die back then you can harvest, keeping them in the greenhouse is keeping them too well .They are probably too warm you could be making too much top growth ,its the tubers (spuds) we want. :rotfl:
Put a post on the allottment page I am not a spud specialist :hehe:
