Hi Pollie, ooo yes please that'd be great
Aaaaw so sorry to hear about your dog, is she a young dog ?, know its not much comfort but they do adapt brilliantly, I used to walk with a man when I had Fudge who had a yellow lab that went blind, she'd still go on her walks and you'd never have known there was anything wrong he would just keep rattling the lead and she knew where he was, could find her way around at home as long as he didn't move anything, I saw him the other day and she was still going for her walks not such long ones now but she's 16!!!!, thinking of you at this distressing time.
Just been outside and lots starting to open here too, at last :dancy:

Thanks so much. She is only 9 which is why it seems so sad although she is already adapting well. She could have an op so we are thinking about that at present but chatting to the receptionist at the vets she said the same, that they get used to not being able to see. She has definitely slowed down so she doesn't run into things. V. sadly fabulous day here but the wind so strong shredded everything but going to be bit better at the weekend, have had some lovely seedlings out too, v. exciting. Enjoy

She's still quite young then Pollie, sure she'll be fine whatever you decide to do:), they're such a worry aren't they like one of your children.
It was just the same here yesterday warm but windy, still not a huge amount in flower yet so the wind didn't do too much damage, ooo you'll have to put some pictures on of your seedlings, looking at Wylies on the other forum:mute: I'm amazed at the beauties you can get, mine are coming on great have over 150 plants!!!!, when do you plant yours out ? do you think its best to put in the greenhouse the first winter and plant out next spring, Wylie says he gets his in the ground as soon as possible and they grow much quicker but then he's in the Azores, bit warmer there.

Sorry haven't been back before, had a great weekend with daylily visitors who stayed overnight and then local group lunch here today, lovely blooms although some of the really big ones got damaged by the wind, Webster's Pink Wonder lasted an hour. Grrr!! Getting towards peak now. Thank you for the kind words for Chyna, you do get so attached to them. Stunning seedling yesterday, Cerulean Star baby, huge and less stiff than CS. I keep my small babies in the greenhouse the first winter. The first year we had any number we put them out in field and lost half of them. We put them out after they are a reasonable size and if they die then so be it.

Thanks for that Pollie the greenhouse it is then.
One of these years I'm going to come to one of your open days, bit of a long way for us but we could make a weekend of it and do something OH likes too, he retires in a couple of years so we'll have lots of time then
Must be so exciting when the seedlings open for the first time never knowing what you're going to get :)
