We pick Candida and Calvos (Candy and Cal) up at 8pm tonight. :D :D :D

Valerie (the French girl looking after them) rang this morning and said it was time to split them up from Puppy as they are all too attached to each other and Puppy cries if the two bounce off somewhere together. :( They are all 35 days old now. Her husband is also concerned as she keeps the kitchen door open where their basket is and is afraid one or both might wander off.

Apparently they are eating kitten food, yogurt and using the litter tray so are doing well.

The camera will be doing double time tonight. Our only concern is Magic Sam (curled up on the chair next to me now) as he's very much a Mummy's Boy and may get the hump! I shall have to tread carefully here!

Sorry, if the pics are a bit fuzzy .. were so excited we had the camera set in the wrong mode so have had to delete most we took ... [IMG] [IMG] but here are a few that sort of turned out ..

    ... Candy on her Poppy's lap ...

    ... Cal having a catnap ...

... Candy and Cal cleaning up their mess ...

It's been a lovely sunny day after the rains in the wee hours so they've been playing on the doorstep, so more photos to follow! They're asleep at the moment. Seems to be one hour on, one off but assumed they slept all night as they were where we left them ... on the bottom shelf of the linen cupboard in the pantry by my computer.

Awwww...... They are SO like my Tigger and Peanuts I've gone all goose-bumpy!!!!! (Tigger died 18 months ago just before her 20th birthday and I lost Peanuts to cancer 7 years ago) They are beautiful......

I'm sat here waiting for a phone call from the Vets as Bramble is having her eye operation today..... it broke my heart leaving her there - she had no idea what was going on.... in total blissful ignorance. I can't imagine what is going through her head now she has woken up in pain...... :( I'm on such a guilt trip...
