Thanks, PinO. Guess you've read the thread how we have them ... was not a "planned thing" but we're chuffed. They're eight weeks, five days old now!

This is their Big Bro, who's English, the poor Pickaninny and my real baby who has to put up with them ... he's Magic Sam aged 11 ...

Love your pair of kits LoL! sorry that should be kittens. They certainly look like bundles of mischief. What does MS make of them? And did you have to include another pic with a Jacaranda in it just to rub it in. :D

Strongy, why are you sorry they are kittens? Have I missed something? They are certainly bundles of mischief and joy.

MS brought them a mouse (dead) the other day and put it with their toys. Since then he's brought them two baby geckos to share the fun of trying to catch them once he put them down ... one immediately dislodge it's tail which wriggled around on it's own! :D

Thought you'd like to see a pretty flower again! [IMG] Just for what it's worth, that large tree in the background ... that's the almond!

I realised what I had written in the first six words and thought I'm sure you wouldn't be offended so I left it in. [IMG]
When do you crop the almonds or has it been done already?

Aaahhh ... I'm thicker than I thought I was ... but you might like them anyway! Missed that completely! Certainly no offence ... they are praised every day so why not from afar?

Unfortunately, our almond tree is the bitter almond type ... for marzipan! It blooms anywhere between December and February and I'll post a pic ... it's got to be one of the oldest / biggest almond trees in Algarve and a beaut! It's about 30 feet tall! I've many pictures over the past nine years but we cut it back drastically about two years ago as it was interferring with the electricity lines.
