thanks to everyone for the warm welcome .
im feeling very inspired and looking forward to some nice food.

im realy getting into this allotment way of life . me being the checky git that i am, ive borrowed a key and have made a start. the brambles are thick at the top of the plot but they have recieved a very heavy cutting down . still loads to go but as the ground is to wet to dig, i thought clearing would be the best option

also today i visited an allotment site about 3ta4 miles away and had a look at wot they are starting to grow or have wintered over.
my allotment is little used so a better look at a well used site not to far away proved very interesting . also ive been given some books to reed upon .

the gardening world isnt so different from the motoring world . find the right peeps and help is there

Hi Coub, Passion Flower, Master. Welcome to the friendly site [IMG] Everyone is friendly and offer lots of support as you have probably gathered when reading through the forum. I too have only been a member for a short time and am enjoying the time i spend brousing through everything. As i'm new to veg growing i dare say i've a lot to learn but i know if i get any problems i'll find or get the answers here. All the best in your efforts.
