Hey! Teacher, Leave Those Kids Alone!!!!

I don't think that most of them are wanting to cut out all reference to male and female but only when the subject could be either. Unfortunately the idiots take things too far.

I had this problem many years ago when I proposed and helped get a woman elected to be chairman of an organisation that I help to run. In a meeting she objected to me calling her Chairman so I said that I would be quite happy to call her Madam Chairman if she wished. She didn't like that either. She said that I could call her Chair and I replied that I would do so only if she had four legs made of wood. We agreed that I would call her Helen.

And don't get me started on blackboards!!!

 

But do you have small balls? (As has happened in @longk 's post) the GC automatic censor doesn't allow the appropriate word but it begins with b and ends with cks with repeated letters in the middle )
