So, things are working for me at last.

Michaelmasdaisy, you will love this - Kedi-Gato means Cat-Cat. Kedi is Turkish and Gato is Spanish and Portuguese. Guess all of you knew the Gato bit but not the other.

wishaw - thanks for your welcome but I disagree with you about Germany, I love it. Did you live in the Ruhrpott that you say it is dreary? I would agree to that, dreary and ugly, glad that I do not live there. Tsch¼Ÿ for now!

Kedi-Gato, compared to Scotland Germany IS dreary! Honestly. I love the Western Isles and all these places, the Highlands, the Southern Uplands, the great landscapes and the surprisingly beautiful and diverse public gardens in Scotland.
I grew up in the Harz mountains, in itself a stunning place, and love my birth town Quedlinburg, but if I had to make a choice and my life depended on it I would always always choose Scotland now. But guess what - I lived in the Ruhrpott near Dortmund for the last 4 years before moving to Scotland. I guess that settles it :D

My parents still live near Quedlinburg and I go back once a year or so to visit them. Still lovely. My Quedlinburg Site

I have just gone around your site, Wishaw, some lovely buildings. Now we need to see a similar thing from your adopted home! [IMG]

Moin-moin wishaw, LofL beat me to it. I'm in a bit of a hurry this morning but I will look at your site in leisure in a few days time. You arranged it nicely, and please do as LofL suggested and show us around your new home. Tsch¼Ÿ

Well, maybe one day I will again make a website about Scotland (I used to have one), but first I still need to make my planned Diego memorial website... I am soooo lazy these days, I rather sit in my spare time and cross stitch!
