Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

I got this one this week from Spain. It was called Orange Yellow.


It arrived with buds which are Yellow. First bud opening yesterday ... it was windy ...


Opened fully today ...

 

Added another to my collection yesterday ...Long Life 'Pacific Beauty ...It is paler than it looks with a hint of pink in the middle ...




In line with the others ...


April opened a bloom (the last one was Orange)

Thanks Michael. I may be taken to my other favourite GC on Monday to look for a double white ...

Guess what I got today??? ... not one, but two (in one pot) HiBidQs Fantasy with HibisQs® Adonicus Orange and HibisQs® Adonicus Dark ... I just could not resist two for one!



I will get individual pics tomorrow when the sun is not on them as it looks quite different.

First bloom Light Salmon opened today ...

Another Pagoda Red opened this morning and it is tiny, less than half of the other ...






Out of curiosity, I Id'd this on my phone app and it came up as H schizopelatus, but I am not sure. I am also nuturing a yellow variety of this.

 

I just can't help myself ... I bought another 'no name' today, four stems in one pot, so I have called it Giga after the GC ...

 

Lucky you @Victoria . I do like Hibiscus ( had them in France and Spain ) but this garden is far too shady for them to thrive. I'll just have to admire yours from afar
