[IMG] That's a great specimen Paladin.

[IMG] Look what we saw at Gunton Hall, Suffolk, recently -

A lovely gnarled old tree, looked very old - couldn't say what it is but I'm sure one of tree experts will be able to tell me? [IMG]

Nearest thing we have (colourwise) to a Jacaranda, I know of two here and they are stunning trees. They are often cut back (by frost or gardeners) to increase leaf size but I prefer them left alone to mature in to the magnificent specimen that they should be.
    Nice pic Pal. [IMG]

There's one near me in the grounds of a school, its not flowered well this year due to the wet weather and the winds but it can be spectacular some years.

This time I'm going as a civilian in me posh gear as a fully paid up member of the N.T. :D
Hope it's as much fun as sneaking a peek during work time!

Now that was one heck of a morning!!!
The planting is on a scale that has to compete with the huge layout, and just to sit and look makes you realise that it's not about individual plants.
After a while I was taking pictures like these
    [IMG]
And how's this for a back garden gate?
Reckon it'll take more than one visit to take it all in
