Hi Woo, its a pleasure, I have enjoyed showing them to everyone, enjoyed taking the photos of both old and new vessels in our waters, Waiting for 2 hours for the bounty to arrive i had the perfect opportunity to take the other ships.
The bounty was later coming down the tyne from newcastle as it had to wait for the dfds seaways to leave north shields ferry terminal, still it was well worth the wait, wouldnt of missed it for anything. [IMG]

Rosa, a nice lot of pics there, interesting all round.
One question,..... Why was the Bounty flying the Stars and Stripes? :D
I thought we got blamed for that one. :D

Very familiar with that locale - I worked in the docks there!

No - you didn't misread that - I WORKED in the docks! As an occupational health nurse! It was amazing, guys there of 65 doing the SAME job they had since they served their time (apprentice-ship) on leaving school at 14. And many of them hadn't had so much as as single day off sick!

    Thnaks for the memory, Rosa!
