Hi all, couldn`t resist this. I am sat in a bar in Spain with an internet connection,by the `eck it`s warm, now I know how LOL feels! See you all on Saturday.Adios amigos!!!
Good morning LOL, :D I`ve been waiting to hear from you,I am about to sort out the GC worthy pictures from the not so worthy and will post them in their respective threads catch you later
Morning to you too, pip. Why don't you start a pip's Week in Spain in the Non-Gardening Discussion thread and post all your pics there. Then you can do one for Cyprus later in the year. Looking forward to seeing them. You certainly chose the best week last week and we (Portugal and Spain) and are for rain this week, always welcomed this time of the year, however.
I was thinking of that but the pictures are mainly of plants and various flying things,I`ll put one together and see if it works. As you said the weather was fantastic!!!
As I mentioned..we went to Dorset the week before last and it was one of the most relaxing hoildays we have ever had! This is our chalet at Langton Herring near Weymouth.. and the view up the wooded valley This is 'Fi'...she took a real fancy to me and was by my side the whole time there,or sat outside making a din!! Over the hill there were beautiful meadows.. and my most favourite view from Portland. Along with the lovely little Church at Abbotsbury...which stirred a few memories from past visits
Hope you had a good time Paladin, the weather certainly looks as if it was great Great pictures, the cat looks adorable and I do like the church. I`ve always said that if I could be sure of the weather in this country I wouldn`t holiday abroad because,as I`m sure many will agree, the British Isles has some of the most spectacular countryside, scenery and architecture in the world.
We have always gone away with the idea that if the Sun shines it's a bonus ..and honestly,we have never had a 'wet' one to speak of This country has some lovely spots and I' don't think I'll live to see it all! :D
I wouldn't want to live there -- too many tourists!! :D Glad you enjoyed it Pal, I hope we enjoy Northumberland as much next month.
Wow looks like a nice place Pal. Was it family friendly, what was around the chalet by way of other people staying/living? Nice job washing the car for the hols BTW
