Strongylodon, It has all changed but it is still the same if you know what I mean.

Nothing ever stays still and I has to keep telling myself that when I went back for the first time else I'd have cried every day I was there...cried for my beautiful country and cried because I never wanted to leave it in the first place...but was too young to be counted as important in any decision making process.

We like to go on our little breaks here in the UK (a trip on the motorbikes is not to be sneezed at if the weather is good). This year we are looking at a few days down to Cornwall, probably the St Austell area, as I can go and check out The Lost Garden of Heligan.

But....the big holiday this year is in just over a month's time - we're going on a Cruise for a week, Norwegian Fjords. Can't wait :) :) :)

Never been on a cruise before, so it'll be interesting to see if we enjoy it. Our tuxedos are cleaned and ready to go (although OH has insisted on buying a pink bowtie for himself instead of normal black!!)

2 weeks in Beautiful Mijas in Spain in June.
We normally have a holiday in March/ April but have had the lounge gutted and re-decorated this year.
Although my husband is having withdrawal symptoms.
He would go away every month. LOL

One of the best bits of going away is coming back to see how much the garden has come on. Even a weekend away can give a result, especially at this time of year :)

We're taking a short break in May and staying at Saunton Sands Hotel. Mrs Pal's family always went there for a gathering of their covern which I always managed to miss 'being busy' elsewhere:wink:
