it is a smaller cloth about 7 inches by 7 inches that is use for your face and other chosen areas of the body. easy to soap up and clean with than running the bar soap around.

Flannels, horrid smelly things unless you boil them every time, my opinion only:spinning:

Depends on what you use them for! :snorky:

I use a flannel for cleaning the shower. I squeegee the glass then use a flannel to buff up the glass and the metal surrounds. The shower is 13 years old, used every day and looks just like it came from the showroom. :dbgrtmb:

you use a fresh every day, and put the used in the wash. that is what I do at home. It is made out of the same cloth as bath towels are. So not sure what "flannel" means to you. Bath towel here are called Terry Cloth, made out of cotton. Mine are Egyptian cotton . it also has a soft ruff texture to it which helps scrub away old skin cells etc.

IMG_1078.JPG Can't bloody well sleep at the moment due to Tinnitus ringing in my right ear and if it doesn't stop soon I shall cut the ruddy ear off:gaah::sad:

When I shower I use one of those round net thingys with some of my shower gel on it to wash and defoliate my body in one go.After rinsing the soap suds off I use my flannel (mine are pink Mr K's are blue:biggrin:) to get the excess water off of my limbs and then when I have finished all that I dry my flannel in the airing cupboard and as soon as it is dry I chuck it in the laundry basket ready for washing.I can't abide either drying myself on wet towels or getting off excess water with a wet flannel so everything has to be clean and dry each time I have a shower. The towels I use in the summer go into the airing cupboard to dry whereas in the winter months they go on radiators to dry out.:snorky:
PS,I don't just use a flannel,I have a towel which I wrap up my hair in so it looks like a turban on me head and I mainly dry myself in a large bath towel:biggrin:

nice to have the round net things. but in any event, still no face cloth at the Inn's in Scotland. had I known I would have bought a cheap stack of them and just left each one there as I exited .

and my ringing is at it also now. but its 9PM going to try to get to sleep .

Redstar has turned Scottish! In Scotland we call them facecloths. That's because they are cloths for your face :heehee:

IMG_1081.JPG @redstar this is my net thingy I use and usually bung it in the washing machine when she wash my towels and flannels around once a week.I used to use a natural sponge years ago but they ended quiet expensive to replace and the way they were harvested in the wild wasn't a good thing years ago and I am not sure if you can even buy them these days:scratch:

@Irmemac i find they are ok going in the washing machine but eventually they start to fall apart so I just buy a new one.You can either hand wash them in hot water or bung them in the machine but don't tumble dry them as they might melt:biggrin: Mine has a string bit and a sucker on the end of the string to stick them to the shower tiles but I usually hang mine up:biggrin:

My wife has one of those. I wasn't sure what it was until now. Our bathroom is also full of hair products. I can guarantee none of them are mine.
