Interesting, elainefiz! Let us know how it tastes! Glycerine is a well known product for sore throats and skin (with Rosewater) ... and used in cooking! [IMG]

Update on recipe i made. 1 week after making = really yummy:clap: . 2 weeks later = scrumptious:dance: . 3 weeks later = this is heavenly, oh lord i've drunk it all. Going to make some more.. [IMG]
I used Brandy, evap milk, condensed milk, double cream, tsp coffee grans and a bar of cooking choc (all that was avail out of my cupboard) Choc went lumpy, sieved it off as I bottled it and then ate the bits of chocolate. Have bought new chocolate for job and will make twice as much and give away as pressies. Will supply recipe if anyone interested.

Well done, compostee and elainefiz. See elaine, it all come out scrumptious in the end! [IMG]

I don't think I'll bother to make it as Lidl sells it for 3,49 a bottle (about £2.45) so it's hardly worth buying all the ingredients!
