Honeysuckle

my honeysuckle got flowers then they dropped off and new shoots are growing like crazy and now i am getting more buds. My other one that is a bit thin was growing great and the leaves have died and dropped off think i may leave it for a while then cut it down and move it to a sunnier aspect , can anyone advise me when i should do this

 

Well, I'm totally fed up. Was so excited at the weekend as my newly planted honesuckle were in bud, only to find today that all the flowers have bean eaten and leaves are in holes. Aarrghh!!! I've looked under the leaves and can't find any caterpillers, though I have found some green fly. Surely they can't do that damage?? what can I do?
