Hooks for bird feeders

    They had some lovely little birdhouses as well, but no way to get into them during the off season to clean them. Had quite a few garden type items - and they don't normally do alot of the seasonal goods in this store - so can only imagine the larger ones would have much more stock and assortment.

    I did pick up some little 'mini' propogator packs for peppers, moneymaker tomatoes and mixed salad leaves - only a £1 each including the seeding tray, propogator top and seeds.....

    Thanks for the replies everyone - there are some really good suggestions there! :)

    Victoria Plum - your set-up looks great. I might have a go at trying to construct something like that. I could do with a couple anyway as I've gone a bit mad with the fat balls, seed and nuts!

    I'm really glad you like it. It is really surprising how good they look, sitting in harmony with plants and flowers. We made a few small ones which we poke into the flower beds and hang tea light lanterns on when we sit out.

    We have found that the birds seem to prefer the natural ones to the bought one we have. Have fun making yours :lollol:
