Hosepipe Ban

Dunno if its the weather or not but my Callistemon has bloomed for the first time in 3 yrs.

 

It probably thinks it`s living in the Antipodes

 

Having decided to stop watering lawns, the grass was very wet this morning. Heavy overnight dew/mist. And rain is forecast tonight and for the weekend.

 

Top of the day to you Verdun .... seems to me you get a lot more rain there in the Southwest - here in the Southeast we have to suffer more.

 

Hardly a drop in weeks Tetters....like most places. Plus, here in the Bay, showers tend to miss us, esp thunderstorms. But we do get the cooling sea breezes,,,,,helps

Fingers crossed for the rain and storms here in the east indeed.. hope the yorkie is alright tetters. I’ve been taking Barney out at 6am for a short walk but he’s more interested in laying in the middle of the road, raisining his leg for a tickle. A bit like me really

I lost little Henry a while back Mark - miss him like crazy. My other two are 13 now, and I only pamper them a little bit....

I know exactly how you feel Tetters....People say this dont they?...but
I do.
Lost my 13 year old golden lab, Spike, a couple of years back and still miss him. Pretty special. We have lots of photos but a drawing of him captures the essence of him and is valued so much
He is in the garden now where he loved to be. The area has scent, beauty and colour to hopefully do him proud. Aren't we old softies?
