I don't think my Hadspen Blue will be available for division until this time next year, but happy to send you some then, if you are still looking.

I had a look at Crocus and they're selling hostas at the moment for less than £6.00 each, including the divine Wedgwood, but you'd probably only receive a pot of soil (with the plant dormant) if you ordered now!

The only advice I ever want on dogs is never to have one because they break your heart when you lose it :(

That is very true, but another way to look at it is that when you take all the joy and fun and amusement they give you over the years and weigh that against the sadness and emotional pain when their time is up, I think it is worthwhile. I was devasted when my dog died but it helped me to know that she'd had a good, happy life in my care, and really thats all anyone can hope for.

A lot of dog owners/lovers know about what we call rainbow bridge, when one of our beloved companions pass on they get to run free and without pain at the rainbow bridge :)

I hear what you are saying tho Sam, it is heartreaking to lose one :( i like to think of it like they arent in pain anymore. There is no greater love for a companion than knowing when to let them go

Also thank you all for the names of the varieties etc., given me plenty to think about, i think i shall probably have one or two of everything as i have a pretty large pace to cover :)
