It was rather annoying when folk parked all over our avenue when the Olympic torch passed near by and so I went out and guided four cars onto my drive....life is too short to get wound up and I think I made someones day...Mine!:pathd:

I'm not sure. I've been pregnant for about 15 years now judging by my belly. Does that count?

Blocking someone in their drive is a traffic offence. I think the frustration comes from knowing that someone shouldn't do it, but do anyway.

I live close to the Guy Fawkes firework show, the street is packed with strange cars and parking elsewhere was totally FULL
One of my Daughters friends met us at the end of the viewing area and dropped her kids off saying she had nowhere to park
I told her to just go to our house a hundred yards away and PARK ACROSS OUR DRIVE

On return home oh yes she had parked across our drive and the path and the road
She had driven in nose first and abandoned it part in the drive part across the pavement and the back across the roadway ? :-)

I love, erm, younger ladies that are, shall we say, intellectually different:)

If you'd seen how this little car was park outside my house, you'd probably jump to the same conclusion as me about what went through the driver's mind as she parked it.

The backrest of the driver's seat was just clear of my drive. I imagine that while parking up, she'd glanced across, saw that she was clear of the drive, and figured that's ok, totally forgetting about the several feet of vehicle behind her seat:)

She was a lovely girl though. I don't mean that in a rude way, I mean the kind that you'd give a big hug to and try not to laugh at.
