I googled Prunis Lourocerasus.. and it took me to your site..

 

I googled too as I needed help and this forum was in top three for uk and looked best set up and laid out. Glad I found it!

 

I also googled "Gardening Forum" - this site came up 2nd or 3rd on the 1st page.

I think I searched by google or found it by accident when looking for something else.

May I say how pleased I am to have found a gardening forum which is not moribund, not dominated by blokey, geeky blokes, has a good mix of newbies/experienced members and enjoys a bit of a laugh!

 

"gardening forum" in google.. Hello! I hope to be able to get help with a couple of plant identifications..... also general gardening hints and tips from other gardeners :-)

 

I googled 'Gardening forum' and joined a couple only to find that most of the posters were in the USA and talking about plants I'd never heard of and conditions that were too widely different from my Scottish damp. I modified it with 'uk' and came up with this one straight away and never looked back.

 

One of my adult education class told me to join as I love gardening and studying pests and diseases.

 

Same here... Googled "UK gardening forums". This site had a couple of mentions on the first page, so I had a quick look around and concluded that was what I was looking for. :thumb:

 

wanted a forum to find out about taking lavender cuttings, googled uk garden forum

 

I googled a question on gardening and was given a couple of choices to click on for an answer, this forum was the one i went too, then as time went on i thought i would like to join a gardening forum, i some how remembered the name of this one and input the name in google and Ta Da!! up it came had a look about and thought yes i like it and then joined

I googled allotments and it took me to a post ( I forget which) and i saw your allotments section and thought: Ahhhhh! Advice at last! Common sense and experience DOES exist in this world!

 

I googled for 'Garden Forums', there are obviously quite a few, but the Intro of being the only gardening forum I will ever need seemed homely and friendly, so here I am

 

Google brought me here!
