D&Y - a very warm welcome to Gardeners Corner. We love hearing from people in different locations and different climates. Though we don't envy your snow at the moment. England is several hundred miles more northerly than New York - but on the news it said our temperature hit 61 F (16C) today in some parts.

 

Thanks, PeterS. I'm definitely craving for stories of green growing things. As for home; my snow was 18" by the house, and three feet deep by the road. Before my partner and I were half done with the driveway, a neighbor came by with his snowblower and helped us finish. He's getting a big batch of cookies from us. Another neighbor - elderly - had two neighbors running a snowblower race in his driveway first thing this morning. A beautiful day in the neighborhood, if I say so myself.

Yep we are quite active on here, even Armandii ( one of the admin ), and he's 112 !

 

First Post but found you guys on google when I was looking for advice on polycarbonate greenhouse and the best way to permanently fix the sheets to the frame. I think third on the list if I remember correctly. I must say though that this site is a wonderful place for information on so many subjects and seems a very friendly place to be.
