As for the vast interstellar distances, take a piece of A4 paper, draw one planet on one end, one on the other, draw a <----------------------> between them and mark it up with the light years of your choice. Seems a long way between the 2 planets.

Till you fold the piece of paper.

Sorry, thats the only way I could think of to explain it so that your Human minds would understand.

So you're talking of bending the fabric of space and time, using energy and either, a) riding the impending wave like a surf, or b) creating a worm hole between the two points of entry at the shortcut... got it Zigs! :blue thumb:

I'm just waiting until someone starts singing "I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien, I'm an Englishman in New York"

Why not use the GC Time Helicopter? Ziggy uses it for shopping but it's usually free after that.:coffee:

Trouble with using the TTH for shopping is that you come back with a load of Chancun Holes that no one has a use for yet:doh:

No, no. He's taking a massive piece of paper, sticking a planet to each corner. The gravity of the two planets will attract each other, causing the paper to fold. Then its just a case of walking across the piece of paper.

It doesn't matter anyway because there are easier ways. All you have to do is find an infinite source of energy that can be harnessed, and used it to make a single atom big enough to fit inside, where normal space-time rules don't apply. Then you just need to enter said atom thus placing yourself in the 'space' between its constituent particles. You're then outside of spacetime. You just then have to come back out with the right spin to control when and where you end up. This is how our Time Travelling Helicopter works. Its elementary level quantums really.

Ive found a way to achieve time travel...

Basically get a piece of paper, fold it in half.. get a straw, insert it in the holes (steady on now).. then find your sons or daughters (or perhaps yours if you haven't really grown up) aeroplane/car/space rocket, and pick it up whilst imitating a flying motion, whilst adding an audible 'VROOOM' for additional effect. Last of all turn your clock back to desired time... then you can go and make a cup of tea and sit down, safe in the knowledge that you've traversed time and no one else can tell you different!

I've got two brothers, one called Dexter and one called Clive. They are aged 71 and 67 respectively and did not exist until the end of January this year ... so they came from outer space, me thinks ...
