How do you make a raised veg bed

Hi again fellas, I know it`s slightly off topic, but can anyone tell me if there are certain crops are unsuitable for growing in a raised bed ? I did wonder for instance about sprouts given that convention says that they should be grown in firm soil. Cheers...freddy.
