Steady, Paladin! If I read the news reports aright, they'll put you in the slammer in Falkirk these days for dropping cigarette ends! Mocking the accent might be a hanging offence!!! [IMG]

Yes, but what about the pilliwinks? They came from Scotland... :(

And LoL Na then, me duck! (as they pronounce "Hello" in Lincolnshire...) Don't get me started on how ze Frainch pronounce scientific names! "ium" is "ee-erm", a "u" is the little squeaky sound you get in "tu" and "du", and a "th" is always just a "t".... oh, and they DO say the last letter - which in French they usually don't!!!
Wey, yer bugs, man ye divven knaa what they're gannin on aboot! (As they pronounce "Oh dear, I'm puzzled." on Tyneside..... :D

Goodness, Ha, you've lost me completely now and maybe a good thing!

Unfortunately, I don't understand colloquial (spelling?) accents at all, ever have done as I've lived abroad (that's overseas) for a lot of my life and have had to cope with all sort of accents.

I haven't got one by the way .. an accent, that is! [IMG]
