Like this Simon, on the first one have you minimised the highlights to achieve the blue sky, or is it HDR? You must be related to Al... I only just realised!

I like the photos they're impressive.. composition and framing in the last one is excellent.

      No HDR... Not a fan.

increased shadows, decreased highlights and upped the clarity. That's it.

gotcha now Simon, yes, it's more striking with increased clarity.

Here's one I took today in Liverpool

Nice image Steve...did you convert a colour umage to b/w? If you up the shadows a tad, it would be Bob on.

I don't seem to find much time to take photos these days but made myself take a snap of our pet lilly as she was just begging to be recorded. orchidsml.jpg

Was browsing through some old pics of mine and came across this little character proudly showing off his wares for the lady squirrels . Now I seem to have his offspring having a wander through my raised planter veg's. Pic was in my back garden a few years ago.

I really really like this. I would have it framed in my house

It makes me want to do art again on different layers of acetate

                its very kewl

This is beautiful. Reminds me of the north of England. Going to look up double exposures now and get practicing. What an inspiring photo!
