That was a hard choice but colour I think @wiseowl. Even though there's very little colour in the top picture I think it softens the shot. :)

I also like the Black & White photo best. My days of Kodak Brownie are over so not a expert opinion just a observation. It seems to notice more in the colour photo but a distant photo enlarged in too much or perhaps sharpened too much in photoshop or something similar. There is a word for it but no idea so I will just use the word grainy, the water looks very grainy.
Having said all that, great photo and I would be very happy to take a photo like that.

This photo is excellent or double exposures. To me it is not overexposed at all, that is the perfect effect.I think to have the correct exposure if you know what I mean and a sharp rather than a "soft" focus would of completely spoil the effect you were after, excellent work.

Much Much better in monochrome, well done. The monochrome gives it a more feeling of a tree that has died.

All the photos so far sent in by everyone are excellent and to be honest hard to give any judgement. It just goes to show it does not matter how good the camera or how you tweak the photo it is all down to the prep before you even press the shutter....composition.
A good view or even a bad one can be made great by trying different angles.Standing up, kneeling down, laying down,on some steps, etc. Once it is right you will know it. Always best for budding camera artists to try different things and framing is so so important.
Keep up the good work everyone and keep on sending in your photos.
