How has this year affected next year?

Hi @Kristen , I popped into my local Wyevale (gardencentregroup) last night and they sell Unwins and Suttons as well as T&M seed. Currently they have 50% off in their Seasonal Clearance. I checked their stock of F1 cucumber seeds, packets are £4 to £5 each depending on how many seeds, 4 or 5! Worth waiting for the 50p sale to buy those for sure.

 

I've just been looking back over my seed packets for the year, and in fairness not all of the T&M stuff was a disaster; the Malva Zebrina has been a roaring success, as were the Lemon Mum Marigolds, and the Geranium Jackpot Mix; even the petunia & fuchsia plants that I got from them have grown nicely.

I'm still nipping a bit that I ended up with stuff that I didn't want, and really sore that I didn't get my big dahlias, however I did have the big dahlias last year and they were cracking - and I have 8 of the blighters on order (carried over) for next year.

Maybe (hopefully) T&M just had a bad 2012 due to the weather and moving premises, and next year might be much better?

 

I'll have to go back again now and check that no one has done that :cough
