How invasive is black bamboo in the uk?

    I may attack it when the weather cools a little. The wrecking bar may also make another appearance

    As posted in another thread I had 3 black bamboo in 100 litre pots, they looked really good and were moveable (but heavyish) a couple of times I took them out of their pots to prune the roots with no ill effect, only downside of that is the width of the pot. Photo no to good I'm afraid

    Would it be wise to wrap these in cling film before transporting them?

    I'd just use the same fertiliser as for everything else. Be careful with Gumtree you could easily get a thug.
    I'm considering getting Thalmnocalmus crassinodus "Kew Beauty" hardy, clump forming, but a bit pricey.
