    Jack, you may not have been born a Scotsman but you have most definitely gone native. Even my Uncle Hamish couldn't manage that lot. But then, he's from the borders.

    When I was young (brought up in the East Riding of Yorkshire - long since deleted by Government dictat, accept on the outskirts of Hull - Yorkshire Pudding was a starter.
    My Mam did 6" Yorkshires with rich Onion Gravy (Large chunks of onion in thick proper gravy made from Beef stock)
    Thats the way to really enjoy Yorkshires - if you can find the right tins:dbgrtmb:

      I remember yorkshire puddings as a dessert. two puddings drizzled with golden syrup - yummy .........:rolleyespink:
