These weather forcasters rarely get it right they earn large salarys and most of the time they are wrong..this is what they have predicted for this winter..i think gordon was worn out before he got here.. [IMG]
For this winter, wetter-than-average conditions are favoured over central and southern Europe, although for the UK, there is approximately even chance of a wetter-or drier-than-average winter.

Last winter saw much drier-than-average conditions across northern Europe and all parts of the UK - much as last autumn's forecast had suggested. In the south-east of England this was the continuation of a long period of dry weather starting in November 2004, continuing through to the summer of 2006.

"A wetter-or drier-than-average winter". Well, that cover all eventualities! [IMG] Sounds like something Francis what's his name would say! [IMG]

A girl who worked with me briefly went on to become Cabin Crew (I think that's the term you use now). She and her partner both studied to become Air Traffic Controllers. He passed his finals but she failed and she said about the only option you have is to become a weather forecaster which she didn't want to be!

So, perhaps many weather forecasters are failed ATC candidates ... guess I rather them predicting the weather wrong than the flight path of aircraft!  Doesn't bear thinking about!

I think the farmers can predict the weather better than these over paid weather forcasters.. :D
