@Scrungee the chap did say about the number plate that he couldn't find it on the DVLA database as it is that old.At the end of the day if this chap works on the car and after a few years he sells for a few grand then good luck to him,better than it go to a scrap yard to be squashed to a cube

These are the three fords that need getting rid of.I can find the MOT history for two of them but not for the third one,which we can't understand as my FIL would have always had the cars MOT'ed.
And this is part of the nightmare he left behind because he wouldn't maintain the building as it meant spending money so all this wood has got to be cleared and got rid of before we can get to the mini that is underneath it all
PS,Please don't hoard stuff folks as all it does it causes a nightmare situation for those left behind to pick up the pieces

 

My in-laws hoarded rotten, woodworm infested furniture, broken electrical items, etc., whilst throwing good stuff away. We have hoarded valuable collectables from when they were plentiful and cheap.

 

I was very nearly killed by one when I was 9 or 10 years old.

I was on the pavement when it came out of a junction opposite, was hit by a transit van, and launched across the road coming to a rest quite literally inches in front of where I stood. The outcome was not pleasant, and not something anyone should have to see, especially not a kid.

 

@JWK if you look to the right of the sky blue car you will see there are some mini doors to the right of it,which come from the red one under the wood and the white mini to the left of the dark Ford.My FIL managed to get the red mini into that building with the intention of sorting it so that his grandson could learn to drive in it.The Grandson was seventeen at the time and is now 32 so it never got sorted.A lot of the collapsing of the roof has happened over that time due to rot,heavy snow fall very strong winds etc and is getting worse. oh and to the left of the Fiesta is a Forson Major tractor my FIL gave to his grandson.God only knows where that is going to get put,still that isn't my worry

As the garage is so cold you can't stand in the place for too long as there is no heating or electricity

I will mention to Mr Kandy about the scrap value of those cars and see what he and his sister can decide on

@Scrungee, I collected plates years ago from Franklin Mint I think it was thinking they would be valuable in years to come but evidently many people thought the same and they are going for peanuts on selling sites so that wasn't a good idea
