    I had the same experience when approaching the traffic lights in Middlewich some years ago. I stepped on the brakes gently and the rear just floated around so that I was going sideways. Luckily there was no other traffic so when I got control I pulled over to the side and could just see the rainbow colour on the tyres. I reckon that's what you met!!:dunno::heehee: You do have to wind down the windows though afterwards to clear the air.:eeew::heehee:

        Glad you're OK C1. Very spooky about the plate and get back to that road to check it out. But maybe do it on foot? ;)
