    According to that link - and it sure looks like your plant, Steve, once it flowers it dies - so make sure you keep some of those bulbils for yourself!! :rolleyes:

    says it throws out these bulbils that grow round the dead parent, or some such words - it's monocarpic

    Still unsure whether the plant on the link is Steves monster. It says they flower after 10-15years, Steves took 4 :eek: So either I've got the wrong plant or Steves a blooming genius [​IMG] :D

    Well done that lady. i am convinced windy's link is what ive got!!...I have another yet un flowered one. I read the 10 15 year thing also..... I'm a blooming genies arse like windy said. Honey bee id be delighted to send you some bulbils. My plan to spread these beauties far and wide is taking shape . soon we will take over the world!!!!!!!

    Your postie must have been leaning against a hay stack chewing a long piece of grass and drinking scrumpy windy!!! they def left in fridays post 1st class.....unless the envelope was 0.0003 mm too wide for the new postal cost thing and they relegated it to 2nd class!!!!! has anyone who gave their addresses to me got their babies yet???? come on lets get our global domination plans into action

    Potted some and left some to dry out a bit on the kitchen windowledge. That Tresco link said the plants throw 'em off, so figured they might need drying out a bit first???

    Of course the Stella and cream tea are on me [​IMG] [​IMG]
    Oh the envelope had a sticker on saying "this item has been underpaid" so think they must have come 2nd class [​IMG]
