I completely agree. And can I add that Maggie made it so we didn't get too entrenched into the eurozone back then? Imagine how we'd be now. Now I'm no Tory, I'm born & bred a pit town girl, but my old pit town's first language now seems to be Polish and yes, it breaks my heart. I've never voted Tory in my life but this...

Ed Milliband is like a Spitting Image caricature of himself. David would have been much better

I think we should also bear in mind that many of the people wishing to enter the UK are doing so because the social and economic climates of their own countries are very poor; these are people of great resourcefulness, and if they are not supported by benefits or charities, they will find a way to survive - that may be working illegally, it may be begging, or it may be crime (burglary/theft etc).

          I am not saying for one second that they are bad people, but we have to be aware of what is likely to happen if we 'force' them into a corner;

Dough boy has only started squeaking, due to the huge campaign from UKIP and the fact that there is a General election coming round
What happened to the promise of a Referendum on the EU in their manifesto if they won the last GE, Nothing Zilch Sweet FA

UKIP have the right idea, only they over speculate making it unbelievable
They are right that in January we open the door to 29m people, the missing word is POSSIBLY
so everyone laughs at 29m, in reality it will be about one million a year
We can not even house nor employ our own people these past ten years

The farmers bleat, we could not provide food WITHOUT the immigrants, Well the answer to that is easy
Do not pay JSA after three months, if there is farm work to be done (obviously you can not farm in CITIES in which case other poor paid jobs that people find it beneath them to do)
Just because you WERE a manager does not mean you are incapable of cleaning bins, you take what is on offer or get nothing

Where do these menial tasks come from, From the benefits money, create basic work, at the moment there are two options
                1. Sit at home watching TV or working on the side cash in hand and sign on for JSA once a fortnight
                2. Take a menial job
                Most take option 1

Remove option 1 and just leave option 2, then there is motivation to move on up the ladder.
It is a pity Sid's backstreet Motors, has now to charge real prices and pay real wages

I think with some of them, that is why they come, we import criminals, pick pocket gangs, shoplifters etc.
These are the skilled people we are importing, as if we dont have enough of our own.

Couldn't agree more! We ended up with a coalition government simply because there was no single party that was worth a light; its a bit like being asked to vote if you would rather stick pins or needles in your eyes.

Tony Blair got elected because he was a nice guy; Nick Clegg got where he is because he is a nice guy; David Cameron got where he is because he is a nice guy - - but, being a nice guy is just not enough to run a country.

For this country to progress, something radical needs to happen - but that is not going to happen anytime soon, because politics is all about jobs by the boys for the boys.

When Poland was allowed to send everyone here, I know for fact at least one English police force had a visit from a couple of high-ranking Polish police officers, and they said that we can expect a lot of their criminals to come over...

Here's a thought. With the EU trying (and largely succeeding) to dictate to us, Spain trying to rile us with their latest Gibraltar dispute, Germany setting its self up as EU god, and france turning a blind eye to illegal immigrants as long as they're on their way to Britain when they get caught, imagine this: I know it wont happen, but it would be really cool if David Cameron was to respond to the EU whining by saying, "right, if you're not happy, we'll leave the EU. But if we leave the EU, we're imposing a 25% import levy on German and French cars, and a £100 per person+25% of package cost levy on tourists travelling to Spain, France, Italy, Portugal or Greece unless they have legitimate business reason for going there, a total ban on imports of french beef, cheese or any other food item we can make ourselves".

Of course it won't happen, which is probably a good thing, but I wonder how much it would upset people if it looked like they weren't going to get any of our money any more.

Spain for one would be stuffed if British holidaymakers stopped going there, and as the whole of the EU is currently a delicate house of cards, if one EU member state collapses completely, they're pretty much all stuffed.
