I Tried- Brahminy Kite from Goan Coastline

    yes marley this one did, it was fascinating to watch, so we are in agreement it certainly could be an african fish eagle, this post got very complicated so i changed its name at top just to Eagle :D :D

    Hi all
    Rosa - what a sight for you, brilliant.
    Unless i'm getting confused [​IMG] I thought the African eagle has white on tail, your eagle didn't. What am i missing - please don't say a brain :D

    thanks marley, it definately looks like the brahminy kite, they are quite a large bird,never heard of these before and its the first one i had seen in goa.

    marley i will re-name my thread now, strange that in 5 years of going to goa it my first i have seen, they must not be a well known breed of kite then.I took this pic about 9 am and there was no one around on the beach
